IV. Create a Portfolio Board for Jira by ProductGo

Step 1: Access to the Portfolio Board feature

Go to Apps → StoryMap (ProductGo) → Portfolios tab

Step 2: Create the new Portfolio Board

Click on the Create button to create a new Portfolio Board:

  1. Choose Story map template: Choose between the 2 or 3 levels template for your board
  2. Setting Data: Fill in the details of your meeting and decide which projects to use on the board
  3. Setting Permission: Choose the members from your Jira instance to access the board

Step 2 Create the new Portfolio Board

After completing creating the board, your portfolio board will be shown up in the Portfolios tab

Click on the board you recently created to access

Step 4: Define Goals/Epics/Stories

Create Goals/Epics/Stories by creating cards on each portion and filling in the detailed information. Or just click on the Issues button and drag and drop the available issues into the portions.

Add swimlanes by clicking on the Add new swimlane row, and filling in the required information.

You can customize the board by changing the color of the cards or changing its theme.
